A strong membership base gives authority to the opinions and arguments the Society puts forward.

The Society is actively seeking volunteers to join our Management Committee!
We hold 7 meetings each year, so the time involved is not onerous. In between meetings we regularly communicate on any on-going matters, including planning issues, by email. STATEMENT ABOUT GDPR
Under the new General Data Protection Regulation which comes into force on 25th May 2018, organisations are required to review their data protection practices. The Lindfield Society reaffirms that it will not pass on members’ personal information – name, address, contacts – to any other organisation. It will use this data solely in relation to its activities, such as informing members of the talks programmes, planning proposals, annual mailings etc. The only exception is where members have advised the Society of their eligibility for Gift Aid and this information must be passed annually to the HMRC. We will hold your data only while you are a member of the Society and when this is no longer the case we will destroy it.
